Gestalt therapy supports you to get curious about what is happening in your life. When we learn to become more aware of our current experience, the door opens to creating insight and making changes and on expanding your options for yourself, more than you thought could be possible.
We’ll really be slowing down and paying attention to what is happening for you in your moment-to-moment experience and to help you make contact with your full emotional landscape.
We focus on learning the meaning of your symptoms and try to learn what they are telling us, rather than pathologizing you with a diagnosis that may feel stigmatizing and shameful.
*A diagnosis may be required if you choose to use health insurance for therapy as it is a requirement of the health insurance system in order to have your treatment reimbursed by your insurance company.
You are seeking a
gentle approach to your healing journey
You desire a life change and want to improve your mental health
You want tools to help you cope with challenges in your life
You’ve tried other forms of therapy and Haven’t
found the right fit yet
You are interested and willing to discover more about yourself
You want to feel safe and supported to make contact with painful emotions, when you're ready
We can go at your own pace. I help you to recognize that there is value in slowing down, making space and seeing what we can discover.
Together, we will notice and pay attention to your experience in the session in order to increase your awareness of your experience. Your awareness gradually leads to insight, which is ultimately what fuels change.
Instead of trying to “get rid of” negative or painful emotions, I work to help you learn to appreciate and accept the full emotional landscape.

Change
I chose to specialize in Gestalt Therapy because it’s so different from what so many people are doing to cope with the modern world.
We ignore/avoid/numb to try to escape painful or uncomfortable things but this just keeps us stuck. In order to really create lasting change in ourselves and the world around us, we need to wake up and be willing to be with what is.

To live in the way of the Gestalt:
1. Live now. Concern yourself with the present before the past or the future.
2. Live here. Deal with what is present rather than with what is absent.
3. Stop imagining. Experience the real.
